Hi everyone!  Just to let you know, my favourite pointy-toe loafers from Aldo are back in stock, and with even more colours!  The "Bone" and "Medium Brown" colours are calling my name!  If you're interested, I found they run true to size and the leather is soft and supple which allows them to stretch out a bit - no breaking in required!  In other black flats news, I need a replacement pair of ballerina flats to replace my beloved Vince Camuto "Ellen" flats - the leather is starting to peel on the toe and heel :(  I am also thinking I need a pair of d'orsay or regular pointy-toe leather or suede black flats.  These ones from J.Crew Factory look promising and I have had good success with their suede flats in the past (I wear my grey ones all.the.time - see here, here, here).  But then I was on the Aldo website and how cute are thesethese and these?  Please let me know in the comments if you have any suggestions!!

My skirt in the third pic is from J.Crew but I think from a season or two ago.  I purchased it at a consignment store as I felt like I needed a black skater skirt in my arsenal.  It's been on my list for awhile but I had a really tough time finding one that I liked!  It couldn't be too short, too poufy, see-through, cotton jersey (I find the material really quickly and has a more casual vibe, which was not what I was looking for).  When I tried this skirt on, initially I thought it might be a bit too 'flippy' at the bottom, but looking at these pictures, it definitely isn't.  So glad I purchased it!  You know I usually ascribe to the theory that if I don't LOVE something, I don't buy it.  It can't just be 'good' or 'okay'.  But sometimes I will take chance on something, like this skirt, and it totally pays off!

As always, thank you for reading!
