August Outfits Week Three

Hiiiii!  How are you??  This week has been a little bit crazy - work has been super busy (we had an important deadline on Friday) and Tony's aunt has been staying with us since Tuesday.  She is visiting from Ontario so we have been doing all of the things!  I'll spare you the play by play but yesterday we went kayaking in Deep Cove and today we are going to the Scandinave Spa in Whistler.  We're getting massages at the spa and I am very excited.  She leaves tomorrow AM and then it's Tony's birthday on Tuesday!  

I actually just listed this dress on Poshmark and then decided to wear it the next day!  LOL

It's a good dress for the kind of in-between weather we've been having - cool and cloudy in the morning and sunny but not hot in the afternoon.  There's nothing wrong with this dress at all I think I'm just over the pattern!

I'm running out of sleeveless blouses to wear to work without repeating myself (see last week's chambray top as an example!) so I pulled this old red top from H&M into the rotation.  I feel like they have a version of this top in stock at all times in various colours and patterns.  It's quite long so you can wear it that way if you like or even with leggings, but I thought it might be cute to do a little tie at the front like I did here.

Another lightweight long sleeved dress!  This one is old from Old Navy and I wear it in all seasons.  The good thing about a black dress is that it's easy to wear in the winter with tights.  ON doesn't have this particular style in stock right now but they'll probably bring it back with a few different patterns later on the in fall.

So every time I tell you guys I haven't been doing any shopping I feel like I do a really big order!  LOL  This week was no different and I did a massive order from Gap/Old Navy/Banana Republic.  I'm not planning on keeping everything, so my bank account will be happy for that, but here's what I got to try:

Button-Front Mini Dress in Navy Floral and Red Floral
This dress was only $43!  My only gripe is that the Petite XS was sold out so I had to go with regular XS which is usually too big on me at Gap.

Print Apron Wide-Leg Jumpsuit in Blue Floral
I've been feeling like there are more and more occasions that a semi-casual jumpsuit would be appropriate for, and I really only have one very loud option.  Hoping this one works!

A shirtdress for work is classic (see outfit #1 above!) and I only have one other dress in olive green.

Split-Neck Tiered Midi Dress in Pink Floral
I may have ordered and returned this dress earlier this summer (?!) but similar to the jumpsuit, lately I've been wishing I had a cute casual maxi to wear at various times.  Fingers crossed this fits the bill.

I need more top options that work for both the office and the weekend, so hopefully at least some of the below options will work!

How cute!  I'm scared the linen material will be super wrinkly though.

Similar to the red top from H&M I wore this week!  A good basic with just a little bit of interest with the pattern.  Will go with everything.

I wear my navy gingham button up all the time so this could be a cute alternative!  I don't have anything in the bigger buffalo check style pattern either.


Everything is supposed to arrive Monday so I should have an update to share with you next week!
