Thank you so much for your well-wishes on last week's post, thankfully I am feeling much better!
The Steve Madden booties that I ordered arrived (the shipping was surprisingly quick, but I'm not quite sold on them yet!) They kind of hit my leg at a weird spot, so I've ordered these and these to compare. I also did quite a bit more online shopping last weekend, ordering this dress from Banana Republic, this dress from Gap, this dress from Old Navy (can you tell I'm on a dress kick?! LOL), a cami, a bralette and a sleepshirt. Plus this leopard cardigan and this striped jumpsuit from Hollister (of all places), this skirt and this jacket from H&M ... and two dresses from Zara.
My Gap/Banana/Old Navy order mostly arrived, I'm just waiting on the sleepshirt, but I'm sending all of the dresses back unfortunately. The Banana dress I ordered in a 2P but it wasn't quite short enough for me, the Gap dress I couldn't even zip up (the zipper sucks) and the skirt was too poofy anyways, and the Old Navy dress I could barely get on (super tight in the shoulders, with no zipper) and then it was too long (I ordered an XS).
The dresses from Zara arrived as well and I've re-ordered the polka dot dress in XS to see if it fits better than the S. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep the red dress or not. It's fancier than I had anticipated and I just don't know how many occasions I have to wear it to. Also, side note - the interior closure on the wrap is buttons that are very hard to secure. A hook & eye system would have been much better!

Do you guys have plans for Halloween this year? Maybe you went to a Halloween party last night?!
I worked yesterday (maybe you saw my Instagram post?), and T has a friend here from the Island. They are mainly playing boardgames all weekend but last night we did go out to a friend's brewery for a couple of drinks. We didn't dress up, but most people there were in costumes!
This week we are going out for a friend's birthday dinner on Tuesday, and on actual Halloween we're going on the Stanley Park Ghost Train! If you've been reading this blog for awhile, you know I make T take me every year! LOL
Saturday night we're going to a charity auction and gala with some peeps from my work, and Sunday night a friend of mine from the Island is coming to stay! I think it's going to be a nice mix of activities/seeing people and relaxing/having some time at home.
