Jules in Flats - May Outfits

Jules in Flats - May Outfits

Hi everyone!

Here's a look at what I wore to work the second week of May.

As I mentioned in this post, I am back-posting this as I wasn't able to take all of my outfit photos in real time due to our balcony being used for kitchen reno debris.

I'm not wearing anything new in these pics except for this gingham top, which you've already seen here.  I honestly keep reaching for it after work and on the weekends and I love that I can wear it to work, too.  I need more tops like this!

This weekend T and I went to the Okanagan to visit my family and it was so nice to be able celebrate Mother's Day with my Mum!  We asked her what she wanted to do and she said she wanted to go to Linden Gardens, so that's what we did!  It was really peaceful and beautiful but there weren't a lot of different varieties of flowers in bloom - just lots of azaleas and lilacs!  After we strolled around the grounds we had a coffee in the gazebo and went to Riverside Greenhouse and Nursery - Mum's second request!  She bought a bunch of flowers to plant in her garden and then we headed home to get ready for a big family BBQ dinner.  The weather was amazing, it was 28 degrees (celsius) so it truly felt like summer the entire weekend!

Next weekend is a long weekend in Canada (Victoria Day) and we are planning on staying in town.  T may have a friend come over from Nanaimo (Vancouver Island) to play board games, and I'm hoping for some good long weekend sales! LOL

I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend and thank you for reading!

  1. I have a similar gingham top and I should remember to tie it like you did! It's so much more fun than tucking it in!
