Hi everyone!  How are you?

I had the flu last week and missed two days of work, hence only three outfits!

I'm wearing a few new things that I told you about last week, this open-front sweater from Old Navy, the "Jules" loafer mules from Urban Outfitters and the jeans from American Eagle, and I have to say I am very happy with all 3!

T returned from a work trip to Toronto on Wednesday so he missed the worst of my sickness (thank goodness!) but it's been great to have him back.  We've been catching up on Survivor, Love Season 3 and getting ready for our kitchen reno - we have someone from Ikea coming to do our plan on Thursday!

Friday was my birthday and it ended up being a warm(ish) and sunny day so I popped out of work early to meet T for Happy Hour.  We went home to get ready before our dinner reservation at 8pm and T had made a really cute set-up with all of my favourite treats - gourmet donuts, sour patch kids, popcorn, red wine, homemade sangria (his first attempt and it was pretty good!), pink balloons and his present to me, a Lululemon rain jacket!  It was so sweet and thoughtful, I loved it!

We had dinner at Kissa Tanto (it was named best new restaurant in Canada last year, and even the New York Times has reviewed it!) with two friends of ours and it was really special.  The atmosphere and service were great, and everything we ate was delicious.  Thoroughly stuffed, we had them over to our place for a nightcap before calling it a night.

We must have really needed our rest as we slept in till noon both days (f-you, daylight savings!), went to an open house and Ikea on Saturday, and out for a late dinner on Sunday.

Anyways, I'm feeling much better and thank you all so much for reading!
