Hi everyone!  Good news for my shopping budget - I just got a tax refund!  Time to buy all of the things!!  Lol just kidding ... kind of ;) Black jeans and a drapey trench are at the top of my list, as well as a pair of high-waisted leggings (either these or these).

Anyways, how was your weekend?  T had a friend over for a board game weekend, so Friday night I went to yoga, we ordered sushi and then I edited and uploaded these photos.  Saturday I went to yoga again (hot this time, so good!), work, and then home for lots of wine, a new board game (Viticulture - it's about winemaking!) and pizza .  Sunday we slept in and then I cleaned the apartment while T took his friend to the ferry.  We had leftover chilli for dinner, FaceTimed with my parents in New Zealand, and watched Patriot's Day - the Boston Marathon bombing movie with Mark Wahlberg.

Monday was the first day of spring, yahoo!  It was actually sunny here, which it's not going to be for the rest of the week, so that was nice.  I celebrated by going for my first run of the year!!  It was tough, I'm not gonna lie!  It was a little windy and chilly and my lungs were feelin' it!  By the way, both my cousin and sister have said that when running, their legs get tired before their lungs.  I've never had sore legs while running before!  Are any of you runners?  Thoughts?!

My smoothie 'diet' went well last week, although I ate and snacked as usual.  Typically I have fruit with my oatmeal for breakfast, and combined with the smoothie, I think I might have been eating too much fruit.  Which sucks, because I love fruit!  I had a smoothie again for lunch today but am going to move onto salads/leftovers for the rest of the week to keep it interesting!

As always, thank you for reading!

  1. Such great looks! Love your blue dress!

    xx, Elise

  2. Your striped dress and dark floral tunic need to get into my closet. I also love the hunter green color of those skinny jeans, Jules. =)

I'd love for you to join my new Thursday Moda linkup this week and share your fantastic style with me and my readers. A brand-new linkup goes live every Wednesday night. Thanks and have the best weekend!

    <3 Ada.
