Hi everyone! How are you? Did you have a good weekend??
I worked on Saturday, and was feeling pretty down on myself for a lazy week and indulgent few days. Last week I skipped the gym Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday which in and of itself is not a huge deal and it was actually so nice to spend some more time at home with T. The weather was just so gross I couldn't motivate myself to go! Anyways, I gave myself a break for that but then it was my birthday on Thursday so I indulged in donuts, pasta and wine ... and then Friday things just really got out of control with the eating. More of the above, plus sushi, cake, and just general overeating (T was away Friday night and I just went crazy ... I swear if I lived alone I would get so fat!) So, today I got things back on track with a great power yoga class, healthy grocery run and a meal/exercise plan for the week. You can't let the past drag you down, you know? Just learn from it and move on.
This week I am going to try and have smoothies for lunch. Our office has a blender in the kitchen and I made "smoothie" packs to take, with a litre of almond milk which I'll keep there in the fridge. As long as my co-workers don't get annoyed by the sound I think it will be good! I tend to drink smoothies quite slowly, which helps keep me full for longer. Funny because I eat and drink really quickly otherwise (trying to change that!)
In outfit news, not much exciting going on due to the Coachella-imposed shopping ban, so just trying to re-wear what's in my closet. The striped H&M blazer/jacket + Wilfred dress outfit is a combination of items I haven't worn in awhile, but other than that it feels like I wore everything else just last month.
Oh, the other thing that happened this weekend was Daylight Savings! How do you guys feel about that? It seems like some people have very strong opinions! I don't really care either way ... I feel like it doesn't really affect me at all. If it stays light out for later, that's a good thing in my books!

I love your outfits! Do you have a habit of slipping your shoes on and off under your desk at work and just playing around with them with your feet? Just curious for a study about fidgeting, nervous habits and shoes.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sean! No I don't do that!
