Hi everyone!
As always, here's a look at what I wore to work last week.
You might notice I've been wearing this watch all week - it was a birthday gift from T and I am in love!! I haven't worn a watch in YEARS - like, pre-teen I think ... I remember having a digital Timex watch with a velcro strap ... and it gave me a rash when the strap got wet so I stopped wearing it, LOL! But I've wanted a nice, small, delicate watch for everyday wear forever! It was just something I could never pull the trigger on purchasing myself, I think because of the price? But Cluse watches are only $100! I was actually going to purchase one for myself with some blogging money, but T did so awesome and surprised me!
In shopping news, I finally bought a pair of designer black jeans. Now, hoping they are perfect! They are the Citizens of Humanity Rocket Jeans and I had tried them on previously but they are like $270 :( So I decided to check Ebay and the prices were pretty decent ($150-$200 CAD) so I decided to try them on again. The are super soft and stretchy, with a nice high waist (not overly high, I think 9"), so I purchased a pair of Ebay for $150 including shipping. I am already thinking about buying a pair of the same in a medium wash ... but want to wear these ones a bit to make sure they are really good. I am going to have to get them hemmed, and sometimes when you do that they're not as tight at the ankle as they're meant to be, which is super annoying and looks bad. And since I didn't use my blogging money on the watch, I used it on the jeans!
Anyways, enough about me - how was your week?? Any plans for the weekend?

Hey Jules, i just came over your Blog and I'm totally inspired!
ReplyDeleteI also have a job, where I should wear business casual. But for me it's so hard to combine the things in my closet to get a nice outfit. And also I don't know what to buy to combine. I really would need you as a shopping assistant :D
I will follow your blog posts and I hope that I can learn from you. Best regards from Austria!
So glad you found me! I hope I can help!

Hi Jules! I just found your website through your Pinterest page, and I love your style!! It is so nice to see a fashion blogger who wears flats and not high heels because it seems so unrealistic to wear heels every day. Looking forward to more posts by you! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Rachael! So glad you found me - I feel the same way!! xo Jules
DeleteI always love it when you wear that lavender dress. The mini skirt outfit is lovely, too. =)
ReplyDeleteWelcome by and join Thursday Moda tomorrow, babe. In fact, it is live on the link below. Thanks. =)

Thanks Ava! So sweet! xo Jules
DeleteHi! I found your blog while perusing through Classy Yet Trendy's link up. I'm so glad I did. Your simple, but very cute and honest approach to fashion made me pause and question the integrity of my own blog. Do I post things that I would actually wear on a day to day basis, etc. Thank you. It's good for the blogging soul. Anyhoo, those cute leopard flats are the other cause of my normal than longer stay on a blog page. ;) P.S. I can't pick a favorite out of those outfits. Though you didn't ask.
ReplyDeleteHi Chrissy! Well not all blogs are for everyday fashion - some are meant to inspire, provide styling advice, show the latest trends, etc. So you do you! But I'm glad you found me and thank you for your kind comments. I love the leopard flats as well and wore them again today! xo Jules
DeleteSuch great looks!!
