Easter Bunny

(Skirt & Earrings by Joe Fresh, Cardigan by Gap, Scarf & Belt by F21, Shoes by Urban Outfitters )

Happy Easter!
I hope that you all are enjoying a beautiful long weekend.

(Cardigan by Song, Shirt by Joe Fresh, Pants by Gap, Boots by Aldo, Necklace by Tiffany & Co.)

I am en route to the Okanagan to spend the weekend with my family.  T, on the other hand, is in Vegas for a good friend's Stag (Bachelor) Party.  How fun!

Spring Brights

I am so happy it's finally Spring!

(Sweater by Joe Fresh, Scarf and Pants by Old Navy, Shoes by H&M)

I know, I know, I'm a week late on the whole "it's officially Spring" thing, but that doesn't mean I can't still be grateful, does it?

(Pants, Blazer and Sweater by H&M, Tank by Jacob, Shoes & Necklace by Aldo)

I am not one of those people that puts away their summer clothes in the winter and vice versa.  Ain't nobody got time for that! Just kidding. Love that!  Anyways, I just don't have the space to store extra clothing, and the winters in Vancouver are pretty mild so I can get away with wearing a lot of 'out of season' clothing year round, with the right adjustments.

Do you store your off-season clothes?  Does it feel like you've gone shopping when you get to unpack it all again?

"Bow" Peep & Black Panther

I'll call this look "Little Bow Peep"

(Cardigan by Costa Blanca (gifted), Dress and Belt by Forever 21, Tights by Gap, Shoes by Payless)

And this look "Black Panther"

(Blazer by Forever 21, Top by Dynamite, Pants by Gap, Boots by Aldo, Necklace by Tiffany & Co.)

Hi! Happy Monday!
I hope you all had a great weekend.
We spent ours pretty much just hanging around the apartment being lazy and getting various things done as we felt like it.  I had been given a large bag of apples from my Mum/Sister last weekend so I made this crockpot applesauce and apple chunk bread.  Still not even halfway through all the apples!  Tony is doing a painting for above our couch and got started on that this weekend too.  I'm really excited!  He's a great painter and the sunset he's doing will bring some much needed colour to our living room.

Ikat Dress and Cowboy Casual

Why hello there!

(Blazer by H&M, Dress and tights by Gap, Shoes by Forever 21, Necklace by Joe Fresh)

If you've been reading my blog for awhile, you'll know this ikat dress from Gap is a summer staple.
If you're relatively new to
jules in flats, get ready to see this dress a lot when the weather warms up.

(Sweater by RW & Co., Scarf by Joe Fresh, Jeans by J Brand, Boots by Aldo)

I love this outfit.  There's something so simple and so me about it.
It's not too fussy, not overdone, not trying too hard.

eShakti Spring Dress Review

(Dress c/o eShakti, Cardigan by Zara, Tights by Gap, Shoes by Banana Republic (outlet), Necklace by F21)

The folks over at eShakti reached out to me and asked it I would like to review an item from their Spring collection, and this is the dress I chose!  Unfortunately I cannot find it on their website anymore, but this one is quite similar.  I customized the dress so that it was suited more for a petite figure by shortening the hemline.   One thing that I really appreciate about the v-neck crossover top of this dress is that there is a small interior button closure to ensure your girls don't spill out.  However, on my dress, the bust area was a bit too big anyways and you could see the button.
*Update* Here is the link to the dress I am wearing.  It is currently out of stock.

eShakti now offers size 0-36W (and of course custom sizes and styles are always available). They also provide options to remove/include embroidery, pockets or other embellishments on their clothing.

New 'do

Hi everyone!
Happy Monday!

(Vest & Tights by Gap, Dress by Old Navy, Shoes by Banana Republic (outlet), Necklace by Tiffany & Co. )

 I got bangs!

(Blazer & Shoes by H&M, Top by Old Navy, Pants by Gap, Necklace by Tiffany & Co.)

Last week was so busy with after-work activities that I didn't have time to blog at all.
This week should be a little more sane, and on the bright side, it's supposed to be sunny for a lot of the week!

Another Year Gone By

Well hello there!

(Sweater by Joe Fresh, Skirt by Song, Tights by Gap, Shoes by Banana Republic (outlet))

I hope you all had a great weekend!  I certainly did.  I celebrated my twenty-eighth birthday on Saturday and boy the weather did not disappoint!

(Cardigan by H&M, Blouse by Joe Fresh (new), Pants by Zara, Shoes by Gap (new)

Tony and I went for brunch at The Boathouse on Kits Beach and had an awesome window seat which was great for people-watching.  Then we did some shopping and later we went for dinner at Vij's.  A must if you are ever in Vancouver.  Best. Indian. Ever.  Beware, they don't take reservations so get there early, put your name on the list, and go for a walk in the neighbourhood (Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware, West Elm & Anthropologie are all within 3 blocks).
