Hi everyone!

How are you holding up?

Things here are good, same same you know what I mean?  We are renovating our bathroom soon and since we only have one bathroom in our apartment we will need to move out while construction is happening.  We are just waiting on our permits to be approved by the city but think it will be starting around early May!  At the same time, we are going to have some work done on our patio so that when we move back in (hopefully in early June) we can really start enjoying it to its full potential!  Construction-type things we want to do on our patio during May include removing a tree stump and replacing it with a palm tree, and adding decking.  This may not sound like a lot but it actually is!  T also wants to add a wall of bamboo, re-do our garden boxes and paint the stairs.

Inside, we are hoping to re-do the closet in our bedroom, and I think T is planning on painting both bedrooms and our front entrance hallway.  He won't do the hallway until bathroom construction is done, because they could damage/scuff the hallway during construction.  We never decorated or painted the front hallway for exactly this reason.  There are holes all over the wall in the entry (and our bedroom) that the seller didn't fill before we moved in so we've just left them because we always knew that we would be doing a bathroom reno.

I'm actually very excited about re-doing our bedroom closet and think we have a couple of units from Costco picked out.  I'm just waiting to hear back from customer service about the inside drawer dimensions so that I can really plan out how many I will need!  T and I share the one closet in our bedroom right now, plus we have a dresser that is 90% mine (he has one drawer).  I did a closet tour a while back if you're interested in seeing what we're working with!

So anyways that's what we've got going on right now (or soon - hopefully!).

Hope you're all healthy & staying safe.

xo JULES
