Jules in Flats - November Outfits

Jules in Flats - November Outfits

Hi everyone!  How are you?

I am having a bit of a week tbh with you.  I got my period, my skin is freaking out and it's been really cold out.  Also, how is it December tomorrow??  Part of me is excited because it means I can put up our Christmas tree!  But the other part is like 'where did the year go?'

Last weekend I started watching The Crown Season 3 - it is very good!  I'm kind of annoyed they changed the actors for Queen Elizabeth and Princess Margaret, but not Prince Phillip and The Earl of Snowdon though.  They all aged!  Having said that, Olivia Colman and Helena Bonham Carter are great, but I can't quite get over seeing them as actresses first, and the characters they play second.  Do you know what I mean?  The actor that plays Prince Charles this year is really really good - something about him reminds me of a younger Adam Driver.

Jules in Flats - Textured Knit Sweater + Leopard Headband (Business Casual Winter Workwear on a Budget)

I got this leopard print headband from J.Crew Factory with my polka dot mesh flats & black headband order.  It arrived right before I left for Toronto, so this was my first time wearing it.  I like how it adds a little something extra to an otherwise plain outfit.

Jules in Flats - Zara Textured Weave Floral Mini Dress (Business Casual Winter Workwear on a Budget)

I'm surprised this dress from Zara is still available!  They've even brought it out in more colours and patterns (I love the houndstooth one!)

Jules in Flats - Green Sweater + Plaid Pants (Business Casual Winter Workwear on a Budget)

I love forest green around the holidays.  It's festive, but in a subtle way.  My sweater is from Old Navy last year and is quite soft and cozy; I linked to a similar one below from Amazon.

Jules in Flats - Grey Sweater + Velvet Bow (Business Casual Winter Workwear on a Budget)

I've been wearing this sweater IRL a lot, on the weekends and on my flight back from Toronto.  It's from Gap last year and is very soft and cozy despite the pointelle pattern (which creates small holes in the knit).  I wanted to wear my velvet hair bow and didn't plan on wearing my polka dot mesh flats with the velvet bow on them at the same, but when I looked at my shoe options just before taking these pictures, they made total sense!

I wasn't really planning on doing any Black Friday shopping, except for a couple of pairs of shoes from Aldo that I was hoping would go on sale.  Well, I was looking for a similar sweater from Gap to link to for you, and found myself deep in very cute sweaters!  Once I had added a few to my cart and added the 60% off discount codes, I figured I would add a couple things I had "Saved for Later".

Here's what I ended up getting from Gap/Banana Republic/Old Navy:

Black

Oatmeal

Copper Spice XS

Oatmeal Beige XS

Purple Amethyst XS

Pink Multi XS

Black Jack 2 Regular

Black XS

From Aldo:

Black 6

Black 6.5

From Amazon:
(ordered before Black Friday)

White 6.5

From Abercrombie:
(ordered before Black Friday)

Grey XS

Navy Blue Dot XS

Black XS

White XS

From Little Burgundy:
(ordered before Black Friday, was by far the best price I could find amongst many other retailers)

Black 6.5

To be clear, I don't intend on keeping everything I ordered.  I'll try it all on and assess whether or not I love it and if it's worth keeping.

Did you do any Black Friday shopping??  Please share in the comments below!

Happy Thanksgiving to my American friends, and come back tomorrow for my Monthly Outfit Roundup for November!
