Jules in Flats - November Outfits

Jules in Flats - November Outfits

Hi everyone!

I am off to Toronto this weekend and we also have family staying with us tonight and tomorrow night so I'll be keeping this post brief.  In addition, I won't have a blog post up next weekend :(

When I get back on Thursday we have more house guests so it's going to be a very social next 10 days or so.  The introvert in me is already looking forward to decompressing!  LOL

Jules in Flats - Dark Florals for Fall (Business Casual Fall Workwear on a Budget)

I love this dark floral peplum top from Dynamite and wear it year after year (it's old, sorry!).  You could wear it with a skirt, too if you wanted to, or jeans on the weekend (which I have definitely done!)

Jules in Flats - Mustard Sweater & Plaid Mini Skirt (Business Casual Fall Workwear on a Budget)

I hadn't really thought of wearing this mustard sweater with this plaid skirt, but I think it kind of works?  Also, I'm wearing a new pair of mules that I picked up from Aldo last weekend on super sale - I wanted to wear them, and show them to you, but I don't really think they go with this outfit!

Jules in Flats - Striped Jacket & Burgundy Ankle Pants (Business Casual Fall Workwear on a Budget)

For some reason I always struggle with what to pair this striped jacket/blazer thing with!  I remember seeing it in the store though, thinking I definitely needed it in my wardrobe.  It's a piece I like to keep around just to jazz up an otherwise plain outfit.

Jules in Flats - Burgundy Floral Fit & Flare Dress (Business Casual Fall Workwear on a Budget)

I'm surprised I haven't worn this dress yet this season, I guess I've been wearing all of my new ones instead!  I'm taking this dress to Toronto as a back up so I may just be wearing it again in a few days!

It snowed in Toronto this week, so that should be fun!  Jk Jk . I'm only there for 4 days so I'm keeping my outfits simple.  I'm planning on bringing 4 dresses (1 is a backup), 2 pairs of tights, 1 pair of ankle booties, and an outfit for the plane.  For my plane outfit I'm planning on just switching up my sweater for the return flight, but otherwise it'll be the same as on the way there - black skinny jeans + Converse sneakers + my big wool coat + a blanket scarf.

I'll probably listen to an audiobook on the flight, as I typically prefer to read than to watch movies or TV when on the plane.  I watch a lot of TV and movies at home, and don't read as much as I'd like to, so it's a nice time to catch up.  I have Three Women, Maybe You Should Talk to Someone and Matchmaking for Beginners downloaded on Audible.  Which one should I listen to?  Full disclosure, I started Matchmaking for Beginners in the summer and am meh on it.  I'll probably only finish it when I really don't have anything else!  LOL

Anyways, I think I'll leave it there as our guests are arriving momentarily!  Thank you so much for visiting!

xo JULES
