I wore the Goldilocks dress I was talking about last week to work this week and then to our holiday party/dinner afterwards. What do you think of the fit? As a reminder, or in case you haven't been following this dress saga, I ended up keeping the Petite Small. I'm pretty happy with it actually, it's not too long or too short, and it's a little bit loose in the torso which means it can hide all that food I ate at the holiday party!

In shopping news, my Cyber Week orders finally arrived! Unfortunately the H&M order was mostly a bust though. I ended up keeping this super cozy faux-fur bomber cardigan which I'll likely wear on the blog next week, this pink cashmere toque and these cushion covers. This top was too cropped in the size I ordered, perhaps if I sized up it would fit better? (I ordered a 4, btw). This dress was way too long and I'm not sure if I would like it even if it were shorter? This headband looked ridiculous, sadly.
From Old Navy, I had ordered this jumpsuit, these pajamas and two long cardigans to compare. The jumpsuit didn't fit unfortunately and while the pajamas are too long, I'm keeping them anyways! The cardigans I ordered were the Long-Line Open Front Sweater and the Super-Long Open Front Sweater. I ended up keeping the Long-Line cardigan as the length was closer to the length of some of my mini dresses, whereas the Super-Long cardigan was more at the knee length.
Anyways, what is everyone up to this weekend?
We have a friends' holiday potluck tonight and I'm making a Salted Caramel Upside Down Cake for dessert. It's a 60's theme party, since the friends hosting live in a 60's house that they'll be renovating soon! I think I'm going to wear my white shift dress and maybe do my hair in a beehive or with a big headband? I Googled 60's desserts and Pineapple Upside Down Cake was one of them, so I decided to so it with apples instead, since they're more seasonal/festive. I tested the recipe earlier this week and it was pretty good, so I'm excited to make it again!
Other than that, we have no plans! Sunday will probably be a lazy couch day which is my favourite kind of Sunday! Oh, and I have some holiday baking I want to do - the past few years this Dark Chocolate Pistachio Bark and this Almond Toffee have been my go-tos!
Next week is my last week of work before the holidays and then we head up to the Okanagan for 5 days, including Christmas Day! Hopefully we will have a white Christmas again this year!
