Hi everyone!  Here's a look at what I wore to work last week.

We finally unearthed the box that had all of my boots in it, so I was excited to wear a pair this week with a long-sleeve dress and bare legs.  It was the perfect weather for that outfit, crisp in the morning but a beautiful sunny fall day in the afternoon.

Also, I jumped on the plaid bandwagon when I saw that Old Navy was putting out a plaid version of my favourite work pants, the Pixie Ankle Pants.  I got an email from a reader asking about the length of the Pixie Pants - I'm 5'3" and order the regular length in the Pixie Ankle Pants.  A few years ago they started making the regular length slightly longer, so I simply fold the hem under once to get my preferred length, which is right above my ankle.  I find the material the Pixies are made of is stiff enough that the hem will stay folded under all day, which is a super convenient, time-saving and cheaper method than having to actually hem them.

Other than that, my Etsy necklace is new but everything else you've seen before.  I was feeling like my long necklace selection was getting a bit tired, and one of my colleagues has this great beaded necklace that seems to go with everything.  So I bought the one above, which has an adjustable length and be worn longer than I am here, and this one, which I thought was kind of cute and similar but different, too.

My J.Crew Factory order all finally arrived and I'm so sad this skirt didn't work out!  It just looks so cute in the product photo, but in person the ruffle hem was just way too poofy.  It looked crazy on, trust me!  Everything else was too big unfortunately - these culottes in XS, this coat in 00, this top in XS, and these pajamas in XS.  The only thing I ended up keeping was this sweater, which after adding on the return shipping of $30 CAD for all the other items, ended up costing $80!  Oy vey.  Living in Canada is expensive, I'm telling you! LOL

Things are coming along well with the apartment, unpacking and organizing and such.  T bought me a full-length mirror which has been super helpful for trying on outfits and such, and today we are going shopping for a dining room table.
