Jules in Flats - March Work Outfits

Jules in Flats - March Work Outfits

Hi everyone!  Happy Easter!

What are you all up to this weekend?  T and I didn't make any plans, the long weekend kind of crept up on us (it seems early this year?!) and I think we thought we would be mid-reno, which we kind of are.  Next Friday is demo so after that we'll really be into the thick of it!  So far we can still completely use the kitchen but as soon as demo happens that's when things are going to get really crazy!  LOL So anyways we are just sticking around town this weekend, having a "staycation" if you will, and maybe going to the Scandinave Spa in Whistler tomorrow.

I have nothing too exciting to report about these outfits unfortunately; you've seen my blue Old Navy dress many times before (here, here, here, here!) and it's difficult to style it different ways so usually I just keep it simple and don't overthink it.  I'm not happy with the red pants outfit, I think I should have worn different shoes but I remember it was really rainy that day and I wanted to have warm feet.  I think the pants are also slightly too long to work with those boots - what do you think?  I don't know, overall it feels kind of sloppy and I felt that way wearing it as well.  The 'snow leopard' dress from Aritzia I do like and I haven't worn it in awhile (it's quite thin and cold to wear in winter as I haven't found a slip that works underneath).  Again, it's a hard one to wear differently.  I liked wearing it on the day but I feel the photos didn't turn out great.  The lilac sweater on the other hand is the opposite - the photos are good but I wanted to pull my hair out all day!  It was just feeling really dirty and gross LOL.

Anyways, I think there are going to be some good sales this weekend, I was watching Liz's Instastories and she did a try-on of some cute pieces from Abercrombie that are now all 50% off!  So I'm thinking about ordering this jumpsuit (stripes and culottes!), this cute tank and these overalls.  I haven't bought something from there in forever so I'm not sure about sizing ... from what I remember their stuff fits really small?  If you have any tips please let me know!!

Otherwise, I am also thinking about ordering these d'orsay flats and these mules from H&M.  I saw one of the jumpsuits that I was talking about last week in-store and the material was not what I wanted so I won't be ordering that one to try.  The sleeveless one looks SO nice but I'm having a mental block against another navy jumpsuit!  Argh am I crazy?!

I also saw this top in the store window of American Eagle and it looked really cute so I'm thinking about ordering that as well.  Lots of thinking going on over here but not a lot of actual shopping! LOL!

Anyways, thank you for reading and I hope you have a GREAT Easter weekend!

  1. That snow leopard dress is so cute! I Hopefully your demo and reno start well! I have done a few renos to our home and because it's a little older you never know what you will uncover once they start ripping things out. That is the nerve wracking part for me! When we did our kitchen I made a few things and froze them ahead of time for dinner. It was a lifesaver!
