Hi everyone!

Here's a look at what I wore to work last week!

It was really dark in the mornings this week so apologies for some of the blurry images.  I would really love to have better, crisper images in general for my blog so I need to look into getting a better camera/lens/photographer.  If you have any tips, or know anyone in the Vancouver area, please let me know!!

If you have been following me on InstaStories, you may recognize the burgundy floral shift dress from the "incident" in Toronto!  I was trying the steam the dress using a regular iron (held vertically, pressing the steam button) but I got the iron too close to the fabric and it burned a hole in the dress!!  Luckily I brought a back-up dress to Toronto but was pretty disappointed as the dress was new and I hadn't worn it yet!  The hole is at the back of the dress so I figured if I threw on a vest, cardigan or blazer I can still wear it a few times!  I think it's cute and a great colour for Fall/Winter so I'll be happy if I can make it work a couple more times.  Sadly it's sold out in burgundy but still available in a black floral print!

The ribbed peplum sweater is new and was a surprise find in-store at Gap last weekend!  T & I needed to get out of the house but the weather was so terrible we didn't want to go outside ... so we decided to go to the mall!  LOL This sweater was 50% with the Black Friday sale still going on, and I also tried on and purchased this top from Aritzia that I think will be great for casual holiday parties (ie, dinner with friends and/or office party).  Another casual holiday top I purchased (online) is this beautiful tiered lace top from American Eagle.  American Eagle!  Who knew?!  I thought it looked great on Merrick and am planning on wearing it for Christmas dinner and possibly my work holiday party.

We are having an ugly sweater competition at work as well and surprisingly I don't have one of those so I ordered this one from Forever 21!  It's more of an 'ugly cute' sweater so I don't think I'll win, but at least I'll have an 'ugly Christmas sweater' to wear to any other events that require one in the future!  While browsing the F21 website I noticed this self-tie dress and this festive mock-wrap dress (sold out) so ordered them both to try as well :|

I also found the North Face parka that I wanted on sale at Sport Check (yay!), ordered this sweater and this necklace in white (sold out) from J.Crew, and got some Christmas shopping done for T, so overall I feel my Black Friday/Cyber Monday shopping was a success!

Did you buy anything exciting during the sales?!  Tell me in the comments below!
