Hi everyone!  How are you?!

We got back from our camping trip to Vancouver Island (very) late on Sunday night and yesterday I was just too exhausted to write something for the blog.  I did take outfit pics before work, worked a full day, went to the gym, got home and unpacked from camping, did a couple loads of laundry and finally was ready to relax with some sushi and Game of Thrones.  Tonight we need to do more laundry, get groceries, and I need to do my nails!  LOL

The wildfire smoke has finally dissipated from Vancouver and we have blue skies again!  The weather is a bit cooler than it was before and I think mentally people are preparing for fall.  I'm not there yet, but I do feel like I have already worn most of my summer work items so the cooler weather allows me to dress a little differently (ie, layers - see striped jacket above!).

Is anyone here a big Pinterest user/fan?  I am, it is my go-to site whenever I open the computer.  I just realized that Pinterest has changed it's algorithm to a "smart feed" instead of being chronological - basically the same thing that Instagram did.  So instead of showing you all of the pins from all of the people you follow, it only shows you the ones with the highest engagement.  I came back from the weekend expecting to have tons of new pins to browse through only to realize that there were only about 20!  Super frustrating and I don't think there's anything I can do about it, except for 'engaging' with pins that I do like, in order to hopefully see more like them.  But really I just want the old Pinterest back!

Anyways, cheers to Tuesday and I hope you all have a great week!

  1. Love your pink dress! I also noticed that about Pinterest and feel the same. I now have to actively look for the pins I want and feel like I don't see as much new things!

  2. I love your daily outfits! I've also noticed that about Pinterest and don't like it one bit! I wish all of social media would go back to chronological, I can't keep up with accounts that I liked the way I used to!

  3. It's so frustrating about pinterest and instagram! I wish there was an option like facebook where we could choose 'most recent'. I feel like I am missing things on both of them now! Love the tunic and mini skirt combo! I almost thought it was a color block dress! I need to try that with my skirts!
