Oh, hey everyone!  Happy Hump Day!

(And happy belated St. Paddy's Day!)

Here's a look from last week when I sported bare legs for the first time this year (!!!) in this super comfy and soft midi skirt.  Midi and knee-length skirts are not as flattering on me as shorter lengths since I am petite, so it's important to try and elongate the leg either with heels :( or a nude pointy-toe flat, as seen here :)  The cropped sweater paired with the high-waisted skirt helps to lengthen the leg line as well.  I'd like to find a black cropped sweater or long sleeved top that's not too short - do you have any recommendations?

By the way, I finally posted by Monthly Outfit Roundups for January and February - go check 'em out!

  1. This outfit is so cute! I love the necklace--I have a sad lack of statement necklaces so every time I see one, I want it. It looks like H&M is the place to shop for them, too.

    1. Thanks Julia! Yes H&M is an awesome resource for budget-friendly statement necklaces, I have a few from there! xo

  2. I love this midi skirt on you. I tend to always wear heels with my midi skirts since it does make me look a lot shorter. I like the idea of using nude flats to elongate the legs too. Thank you for joining TBT Fashion link up and hope to see you Thursday.

  5. I love that fun, cute midi skirts like that are so in right now! I think it's the best way to be dressy casual. And so awesome that you found a longer skirt that fit your petite frame. I'm petite too so I love it! http://soletique.com/abstract-print-midi-skirt/
