I love wearing a sweater over a dress in the winter months to get more use out of all my cute summer dresses! But sometimes it can be tough to find a sweater that will work with the colours, neckline, and shape of the dress. In this instance, for example, I think the colour and neckline are great, but it would look even better if the sweater were cropped, or nipped in at the waist like the fit-and-flare dress underneath. On the other hand, I kind of like how the length of the sweater changed the dress into more of a drop-waist silhouette, which is something I don't have in my closet.
To see more ways I've worn a sweater over a dress, see here, here and here.
Happy Monday!
