Hi everyone! How was your weekend?
I worked as usual on Saturday, and the weather was beautiful so I took advantage by talking a walk in the neighbourhood during my lunch break & running some errands. The streets were so busy with people out enjoy the weather and getting their early Christmas-shopping on!

On Saturday night, we went out for dinner in our neighbourhood. I wanted to try this new-ish place, Siena, but they were totally full when we dropped in at 6:30 :( So we went to one of our stand-bys, Luke's Corner Bar & Kitchen. They were packed, too, but we managed to find a seat at the bar & had a drink while we waited for a table.
Sunday we slept till noon (love when that happens!) and then headed to Granville Island for a late lunch at Edible Canada. We have really started to love it there, I think I've been there 3 times in the last month! T loves the Duck Poutine topped with fried eggs (I know!) and I love the Hazelmere Hash, though this time I tried the Shortrib Sandwich, which was equally delicious!
I also set up and decorated our Christmas Tree! It feels so early, but T brought it up from the storage locker so I figured I might as well, rather than have the box laying in our front hallway for another two weeks! This year I also want to do a wreath for our front door - this one is classic and beautiful and I hope to copy it!
