I passed the 32 week mark in my pregnancy on Friday, which means only 2 more months left!  I am still feeling pretty good; the baby is moving so much now it's wild.  We really haven't bought anything for the baby yet so that is what we will be doing this month - and getting the baby's room ready!  Literally the only thing I have purchased so far is the car seat and I got that 3 days ago ...

The days are getting slightly warmer, sunnier and longer and that has been really lovely.  On Saturday we went to Winners/Homesense and it was nice to just leisurely stroll around the store.  I ended up getting a new compost bin (it's actually a pet food bin that we are repurposing!), some bamboo chopsticks, 2 small baking sheets, and the Pureology shampoo I have been wanting to buy, for only $20!  (It's $37 at Sephora).  We also went to Best Buy and I finally picked out a new stove.  We have been thinking about buying a new one since Black Friday(!).  Our current stove has a few issues, but it mainly works, so getting a new one is a 'nice to have', not a 'need to have'.  Additionally, because of this - I refuse to pay full price.  The only problem with that, is that deals for appliances are largely based on buying more than one of them :(. Anyways, I feel good that I've narrowed it down and now I'm just on sale watch!

On Sunday we went for a walk to Babies R Us and this local natural pharmacy to get some more of the iron pills I have been taking in pregnancy (they are a specific brand/formula).  Unfortunately the area in the pharmacy that carries the pills was closed so that was bit of a waste, and then later we started watching Your Honour.  The show makes me very anxious - so many loose ends!!  I am liking it so far though.

Oh, we also watched Murder Among Mormons!  Very interesting story that I hadn't heard before, although I agree with others that they dragged out the story - it could have been a 2 hour documentary rather than a 3-episode show.  I haven't watched the Meghan & Harry interview with Oprah yet but I cannot wait!  We couldn't get it right when it aired but I am planning on watching it in the next day or so.  I hear it is VERY juicy.

We have been getting Fresh Prep meals more frequently which has been nice; last week we had spiced chickpea shwarma salad and apple cider chicken with brussels sprouts, both of which were great!  One thing I really like about Fresh Prep versus GoodFood is that you can get just 2 dinners, rather than 3!  I have also been really into fruit scones lately .. I think it must be a pregnancy thing because I was never really that into them before!  I was able to order some frozen but ready to bake scones from Fresh Prep which is kinda fun for on the weekend or WFH days.

I hope you are all doing well!  Thank you so much for reading!

xo JULES
