Hey everyone! How are you?
I'm getting sick :( :(
Thursday night I started getting a sore throat and it hasn't gotten any better (but also not any worse ... so that's something) . UNFORTUNATELY the timing is terrible (not that getting sick is ever at a 'good time') as T and I are going away to the Sunshine Coast this weekend for our anniversary!
Monday is our 4-year wedding anniversary, though we have been together for 13! So crazy. The place we are going is actually where we had our 'engagement-moon' 5 years ago!
So I'm really excited to go back ... even though I'm sick ... and it's going to rain the whole time! LOL
We'll just cozy up in the hot tub or cabin and drink wine and play board games and read books and listen to the rain. Oh, and go to the spa! ;)
Anyways, here's a look at what I wore to work last week! The Old Navy dress is new .. although not so new that it's sold out in this pattern (sorry). I'm wearing an XS for reference (I'm 5'3") and was going to wear it with my OTK boots but wasn't sure if the dress would be too long or not. Looking at these photos, I think they would've worked!
All I want to do right now is wear cozy sweaters - my black cable-knit sweater is really thick and I've already worn it this month on the blog. It's old from Joe Fresh but this and this look similar! Also, my turtleneck sweater is old from Jacob (a Canadian company that is no longer) but such a staple for winter! I like how this one is a donegal fabric (meaning lightly flecked) which gives it warmth and dimension.
I wear black shoes so much in the winter that I tried to switch it up with the last outfit (for your sake, and mine!) with some oldie but goodie camel flats from J.Crew Factory.
Anyways, I hope you all have a great weekend!
Tell me what you're up to in the comments below!

DeleteYour weekend away sounds absolutely perfect (minus you not feeling well). I hope you were able to enjoy it regardless. Love the dark floral but am loving how you paired a cozy knit with the the white skirt (is it wool?). Great look and will have to do this b&w combo next week for work.

The white skirt is actually a dress! It's not wool, I don't recall what kind of material it is actually. Some sort of thick polyester I think .... xo
