Hi everyone! How was your week?
Mine was pretty good, nothing too exciting. I managed to get in three workouts (Body Pump, Yoga and a class at Movement 108 (via Class Pass)), made some granola (this recipe is my go-to base, I love how little sugar and oil it has!), finally watched the Globes, and did some grocery shopping.
This plaid shirt and these booties showed up in the mail from Old Navy. I was excited to get this darker coloured plaid top, it's a good fit for the winter season without being too festive. And it was ridiculously cheap, like $7 or something crazy. I saw these booties and just knew they would be great. They aren't even something I've had on my wishlist but I've seen a lot of people wearing and loving a low-heeled taupe bootie so I think they'll be pretty versatile. Especially since my black booties from Steve Madden have a higher heel, so I am less likely to wearing them anywhere other than work. The booties were old out online in Canada earlier this week, but are now back in stock! I am also interested in these sueded peep-toe booties which are available on the US site. I saw them in stores last year or the year before but didn't pull the trigger and couldn't seem to get the online, so this year I am seriously considering them! I need to take stock of my spring/summer shoe situation though first to see what I really need! Typically I kind of wait until the new season starts, to see what I am wearing and what I might need, but then by the time I figure that out and do all the research to get the best deals, etc - the season is halfway over! LOL okay not really but you get the idea. So this year I am trying to look ahead and am planning my spring shopping now, so that I'm ready when the warmth finally hits! Follow my Pinterest to see what I'm planning!
As always, thank you for reading!

DeleteThank you for all of the outfit inspiration! I have that same gray floral dress from Old Navy. I love it! And there is a white furry vest in my boutique that has been screaming for me to make it my own! Now I really have reason to....to pair it with that dress! So good. Thanks for linking up with me On the Edge.

Thanks Shelbee! I saw you wearing this same dress on your blog! Isn't it great?! xo
DeleteLove all these outfits. I am loving the darker plaid shirt, it looks awesome and for $7 it looks even better. Something on sale is always better looking than something thats full price
ReplyDeleteThanks Kenj! I love the darker plaid as well and couldn't believe it was only $7! xo
DeleteLove all your outfits from last week Jules. The rose dress and hot pink patterned mini skirt are so cute and great styling of both.
ReplyDeleteWould love for you to linkup with me this week. A brand-new linkup just went live. =) Thanks, Ada.
