Hi everyone! Did you have a great holiday?!
We are back from visiting my family in the snowy Okanagan and are happy to have another 6 days off before we have to go back to work! We had grand plans of seeing friends and family in town this week, doing winter activities and boxing week shopping, but we are both sick! Ughhhhhh T actually got sick the night before we left for vacation and I didn't know if he was going to be able to make it on the 5-hour drive (fever, chills, that sort of thing) but he rallied and we made it! That night (the 23rd) we stayed at the cutest cabin on Mt. Baldy, our local ski resort, with my brother and his wife. The next day, my brother came down with a cold! T had a cold about 2 weeks ago and I didn't catch it, in fact I can't remember the last time I was sick, so I was feeling pretty confident that my immune system could keep up. Well, I blame it on the not exercising and not eating as healthily as I could (less fruits and veggies, more homemade white buns with butter!), and two days later I end up sick as well! So, we may be doing more hibernating than socializing this week, but I am grateful that we have the time off to be able to do so.
T and I decided to go easy on the presents this year, as I convinced him what we really needed, rather than superfluous gifts, was a new computer. So I am writing to you from our new 15" Macbook Pro. It's gorgeous! Anyways, I hope you all had (or are still having!) a wonderful holiday, and here is a look at what I wore to the last week of work in December! I should be back on the weekend with my monthly outfit roundup for December, as well.
