Hi everyone! How are you?
I feel like the weekends have just been too short lately, do you feel the same way? I have actually been working a lot and the last two weekends have literally been Sunday only. But that's okay because next weekend will be three days! Yay!
This denim jacket (40% off) from Gap and these printed drapey pants from Old Navy (on sale for $20.50) arrived in the mail and both are keepers (both purchased in XS). The pants are really comfortable and border on slightly too casual for the office, but with a blazer I made them work. I am sure T will make some sort of Aladdin joke next time I wear them around him :) This is really weird but the jacket had a funky (chemical-y) smell to it! I aired it out for a few days and considered exchanging it in-store, but then realized they probably don't do that for online orders. After about a week I decided it was fine and cut the tags off. Honestly I have been searching for a decently priced jean jacket in a medium wash for over a year and I didn't want to deal with the hassle of returning/exchanging. Worst case scenario I can throw it in the wash and pray for minimal wrinkles! Or ... buy that steamer I keep putting off!
These flats from Steve Madden finally went on sale (only 20% thought) and I have been wearing them non-stop. I got my regular size (6.5) and the break-in has been pretty minimal. Some rubbing at the heel and on the top of the big toe where the toe strap is snug. Both only happen when walking a lot.
I lost the remote for my DSLR last week so I missed out on photographing about a week's worth of outfits. I can't remember if I wore anything memorable, lol! Sometimes it's a bit of hassle to take outfit pics before I go to work, but I never regret when I download the pics from the week and can review what worked and what didn't (or didn't photograph well :\)
Thanks so much for reading!!

You have really cute outfits! And I hate that chemical smell that denim jackets seem to always come with! The last one I bought, I threw it right in the washing machine (which took the odor right out) and then hung it to dry. There were not many wrinkles in it. And after one wear it was nicely broken in and soft and unwrinkled. So you can give that dry. And if you are contemplating a steamer, I say go for it! I use my steamer literally every single day and it is the best thing ever!
