Hey everyone! So last week there was a random pop-up shop of designer goods on consignment just up the street from where I work. I stopped in on my lunch break and got two pairs of designer jeans (my weakness!) and an Aritzia dress for under $60 each! The white dress I am wearing in the first photo is by Wilfred, which they sell at Aritzia, and is from the pop-up! You can't quite tell since I am wearing a cardigan over it, but it is a sleeveless shift dress with exposed zipper pockets and an exposed half-zipper on the back. I like a lot of things about it. Number one, it is a white dress, which my closet is lacking and I have been looking for one for awhile now. Number two, it isn't see-through! The material is thick and sturdy while still being soft. Number three, it can be worn year-round. Number four, it is in different silhouette than I usually wear - shift rather than fit and flare. Number five, it was $60! The retail price is $200 so I am pretty happy about that!
The Joe's Jeans I am wearing in the second picture are from the pop-up as well. I don't own any other pairs of Joe's Jeans but have heard good things about them, so I decided to give them a try. When I put them on they fit perfectly, so for $38 I had to have them! I love the really dark rinse with no fading, the ankle length, and the skinny but not jegging fit. They are really comfortable.
I also purchased a pair of white J Brand skinny jeans with distressing on the knees for $45 (the link doesn't have the knee rips but the style is the same). They are the same mid-rise style as two other pairs of J Brand jeans that I own (these, these), so I had a feeling they would work well and luckily they did!
Because it seemed like I was kind of obsessed with red tones last week, I consciously tried to stay away from them this week, which resulted in a lot of black and white! Not the norm for me, but that's ok!
The remote for my camera has been 'misplaced' so no outfit pics are happening this week. That means that this will be my last post of October outfits, and early next week I'll put up my monthly outfit roundup.
Happy Halloween y'all!
