Monthly Outfit Roundup: December 2014

12.30.2014

jules in flats: personal style blog - business casual workwear on a budget

Hi everyone!  How were your holidays?
Ours were (and still are) going great!  It was different for us this year as we weren't with our usual crew (my parents, siblings and their partners/kids, and my Aunt/Uncle/Cousins).  My parents and brother are in New Zealand, and my Aunt and Uncle decided to go to California in their RV so the rest of us kids decided to do our own thing!  T & I headed to Vancouver Island to spend the holidays with my cousin, her fiance, and her fiance's family.  It was really fun!  And I definitely (ahem) overindulged!  Prior to this year, I never really felt like I overate at the holidays - we would only have two big meals - brunch and dinner, both on Christmas Day.  Other than that we eat normally - with a few extra treats around for temptation of course :)  This year, we ate like Kings for 4 meals in a row, with either a big breakfast or dinner on the other days.  Oy!

Anyways, here's a look at what I wore in December!

I don't think I'll do a yearly roundup, or a favourite outfits of 2014 post, but in any case, this will be my last post of 2014!  I'm not one to make resolutions or do much goal-setting for the New Year - how about you??  One thing I do hope to improve this year is my photography, and in turn, this blog.  So the format and/or posting frequency may change, and I would like to update the blog design as well.  Please let me know if you have any feedback!
