For a while, I doubted whether or not these Citizens of Humanity twill pants were a wise purchase. I bought them off eBay and thought they were jeans when I did (the description did say jeans after all), but I like that they are casually work-appropriate (at least for me) and a nice alternative for jeans. The rich dark blue hue is close to a dark denim colour, saturated, but at the same time, clearly not denim. I just bought another pair of pants as a jeans-alternative - the Old Navy Rockstar Zip-Pocket Pants in Grey Charles. I wasn't expecting to keep them, just adding them to my online bag to qualify for free shipping when all I really wanted was this tote (which, by the way, is amazeballs). But I tried these pants on, and they fit really well (no hemming necessary!) and when I asked T for his opinion he was more vocal about liking them than he usually is. FYI, when I purchased them they were on sale for $30.00 (regular $39.94) and the tote was on sale for $20 (regular $30.94 at oldnavy.ca, but sold out - regular $39.94 at oldnavy.com).
