T and I celebrated our 7 year wedding anniversary on Friday!  We actually went out to eat at a restaurant (inside!) and I literally cannot remember the last time we did that.  Maybe in October when my aunt and uncle came to visit?  Restrictions were different then and since about November we've been advised not to travel or see anyone outside our immediate household so we have been staying in.  A lot.

Anyways, I didn't do any shopping this week so really don't have a lot to share.  I am getting good use out of my new Marc Fisher boots as you can see.  It is supposed to snow this weekend so I might need to get my snow boots out of storage ...

In pregnancy news, I am now 26 weeks which is about 6.5 months.  I had a glucose blood test this week which basically tests for gestational diabetes.  They make you drink this huge cup of sugar water, wait an hour, and then take your blood.  It was disgusting and I felt really weird the rest of the day.  I have an appointment with my midwives on Monday and they will probably have the results for me by then.

We are slowly making progress on the updates to our front entrance hallway.  It is long and narrow which makes it a pain.  We ordered 2 of these shoe cabinets from Ikea and put them together and installed them over the Christmas break.  T is going to install a piece of wood on top to make it look more 'custom', he already bought the wood and sanded it so varnishing is next!  We bought this moon print to go above the cabinets and I had it framed at work, and our leather bench from EQ3 should be arriving in the next week or two.  After that we need to get a mirror of some sort, and some coat hooks.

I haven't been bothering to put on concealer or cc cream to cover up my zits and dark spots (acne scars), as it just comes off on my face mask, so yes, you can see I have a nice big zit on my chin this week.  I also haven't been wearing any makeup at all on my work from home days or the weekends.  I'm not seeing anybody so I figure what's the point?  (I don't have to do video calls for work).  I find putting on makeup somewhat of a chore so it's been nice taking a break from it.

I hope you all have a great week!  Thank you so much for visiting.

xo JULES
