I am going shopping in-store today for the first time in I can't remember how long!! I am more of an online shopper but I do appreciate a good in-store shop every now and then. It's good to get a feel for the textures of things, and especially for trying on shoes or brands that are unfamiliar, nothing beats it!

It was T's birthday on Thursday so we had a big lobster feast at home (I actually don't really like lobster but it's one of T's favourite foods) and then a good friend of his from Toronto happened to be in town for work so he came over after dinner for some drinks on our patio. We sat around the fire pit just catching up and it was really nice.
Last night we celebrated again with friends (just 2!) on their rooftop patio. We ordered Swiss Chalet delivery for dinner! T and I love SC, it's totally an Ontario thing that I was introduced to when I went to school out there (T is from Ontario if you didn't know!).
Today T is having friends over to play board games so I'm getting out of their hair and taking myself shopping! I'm not really shopping for anything in particular but am hoping to get some inspiration and ideas for fall. I'm always on the lookout for black leather ankle booties with a low heel, patterned blouses, long-sleeved mini dresses and versatile sweaters, so we'll see what I come up with! I'm also thinking of maybe adding a pair of pants in 'golden pecan' and/or 'matcha green' to my closet this fall. Thoughts??
After shopping I am going to try out this organizer I found on Amazon! You can see they advertise it for bras and socks but I am going to see if I can put my belts in it! Someone suggested this after I asked for advice on Stories last weekend and I love the idea! I can't use a traditional belt hanger (like this one) because none of my closet is full-length. I'll post an update on Stories if you want to see what I mean!
