I thought I was going to do some shopping last weekend, but I didn't end up doing any! Have you bought anything from the holiday sales?
This weekend we are a little bit busy with house guests - T had a friend staying Thursday and Friday night, and my sister and her husband are coming to stay tonight!
Time to talk about this week's outfits!
Outfit #1: I bought this Aritzia top during their summer sale last year (I think - maybe it was two years ago) and I never wear it! It's called the Hopkins blouse and looks so cute on their website, but I struggle to tie the top in a way that looks good! Here it's not even tied, it's just loosely looped over once. It wasn't secure that way so I had to re-tie it when I got to work. It's a shame because it's a beautiful top otherwise, it's made of a lovely material and good quality!
Outfit #2: The last time I wore this dress it was winter and I wasn't happy with the way it looked with tights. So much so that I thought I might get rid of it! But I'm glad I kept it to try again with bare legs and I do think it looks better here. There is a small keyhole neckline which you can't really see here, but I think if you could it would lighten up the whole look. It's by the brand 1.State and I randomly bought it at Winners! I could never find it exactly online so I've linked to some similar ones if you're interested!
Outfit #3: This dress is another Aritzia sale purchase but has since sold out! I own a lot of dresses in black and blue, so this peachy pinky colour is a nice change of pace. Even though it has long sleeves, they are sheer, and I like how they balance out the length of the dress.
Outfit #4: A neutral outfit! I wanted to wear jeans since it was Friday, and I felt like I hadn't worn this scalloped cami in awhile. From there I picked a cardigan I hadn't worn in awhile either and then the shoes were a no-brainer!
Next week we are going on our annual family camping trip from Thursday to Sunday so I probably won't have a blog post up next weekend, but feel free to follow along on Insta if you want to see what I'm up to!
As always, thank you so much for reading!
