This post is a bit of a doozy - sorry about that! Since it's the end of the month I also have my monthly outfit roundup to sort out and get posted. Hopefully Friday!
So a couple of new items here to discuss, as well as some others that have been received/returned or I am thinking about. First up, this dark floral peplum blouse from Dynamite. Dynamite is a Canadian clothing store that also owns the brand Garage (terrible brand name for clothing IMO). My sister and I are often able to find good work appropriate clothing from Dynamite, at reasonable (comparable to H&M's office wear) prices. For example, this top is priced at $40 and I had a 20% off coupon. Some people have told me they perceive Dynamite as a younger, more 'clubby' vibe. I can see where they are getting that (short, bodycon dresses!) but I really like their blouses (obvs - this one is from there too) and also just purchased this vest which I am excited to wear over everything.
Next up, this tie-neck dress from Old Navy. After trying on the XS in-store at the beginning of September (aka forever ago) I finally ordered the Petite XS to try during a 40% off promo. Unfortunately it was too short! Ugh. But customer service was so good they did my exchange for a Petite S and shipped them right away with no charge. I'm happy to say the Petite S fit! I got this solid navy blue as well as the navy blue and white pattern.
That's it for this post (I did a LOT of damage this month!) but I have also ordered (and returned) these boots - I thought they would be perfect but they ended up looking too wide/clunky :(. I've ordered these as a replacement and love them with pants but am on the fence about how they look with dresses and skirts. Also they are a bit higher than what I normally wear so I am a little worried I won't wear them as much as I intend to. I've also ordered these tops (here, here) which are pretty casual so you may not see them on the blog, but are keepers. This top, these jeans and this scarf just arrived today but I haven't tried them on yet so not sure! I will keep you updated and hopefully see you back here on Friday!

DeleteHello - Would you consider doing a hair tutorial & sharing what hair products / tools you use?
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Hi Reema! Yes I can definitely share my routine and what I use! I don't know about a tutorial per se ... but I'll start working on something! xo
DeleteGreat work looks Jules. I love all the dresses you wore in October so far. Nice dark prints, too.
ReplyDeleteA brand-new linkup is currently on the blog. I'd love for you to linkup this great post and share your scrumptious style with my readers. I miss you on my linkup. =) Thanks and enjoy the weekend!
