Married!

1.31.2014

Hi y'all!

I'm back & officially a married lady!
I cannot believe January is practically over and I have zero posts to show for it. I didn't even read a single blog while I was away ... though I was checking in on Instagram & Facebook.  Pinterest even got some attention!  Our resort had unlimited free Wifi so that was super awesome, it even worked at the beach (some spots better than others :))!

I can't even begin to tell you what an amazing time I had in Mexico.  T & I just felt so loved with all of our friends and family there, knowing they came to support our love and celebrate our commitment to each other. These pics are a sneak peak our photographer, Melissa Green posted on Facebook (apologies for the low quality, you know how Fbook is!)

Thank you, as always for reading this blog & allowing me to enjoy my break from it as well.  I'm excited to get back into it come Monday!

T called me "Dapper Jules" when I wore this outfit, LOL!
We leave for Mexico in a week and I can hardly believe it.  I think we are ready but it's hard to shake the feeling that we are forgetting something, just because it seems that there is an infinite list of to-dos.  I can't imagine having to do this all while having a job!

This cashmere sweater from Joe Fresh is a pre-Christmas purchase. Joe was have a 30% off cashmere sale and I have been coveting a cashmere sweater for a couple of winters but could never justify the price.  I also had a $10 off Joe card from something so I used that as well and the $79 price tag came down to $45 +tax.  I've always been a sucker for lavender as well, and am really happy they happened to have this colour.

Hi everyone!
Welcome back & Happy New Year!

These photos are a little out of focus and for that I apologize.  Something is going on with my camera and I'm not sure what it is.  One of my goals for the year is to save up enough to buy a DSLR (and learn how to use it!).  I know that they are not crazy expensive, but with the wedding & not working, I am going to have a lot of other things to put my money towards once I start working again!

I had an awesome holiday, including a bridal shower, a week at home in the Okanagan, hot-tubbing every night, spending lots of time with family, doing some wedding crafts, going skating & tobogganing and of course lots of eating & drinking.
The weather in Oliver was much colder than Vancouver (-5 C) and an outfit like this certainly wouldn't cut it - no flats or bare ankles there!  Although obviously not nearly as bad as Eastern Canada/US & Winnipeg where a friend told me that the news was advising people to not leave the house it was so cold (-55 C with wind chill)!!!

Anyways, I'll be back for a bit with some outfit posts but while I'm in Mexico for the last two weeks of January (getting married!) I don't have anything scheduled.  You can follow along via Instagram!
